The original Penn Station, an enormous and majestic Beaux-Arts structure, was a testament to light and space. Demolished in 1963, what replaced it has been described as a "subterranean labyrinth of cramped tunnels". Inspired by and in conjunction with the play The Eternal Space, this ongoing series explores the relationship of light and space in the new station and how it interacts with the flow of humanity that occupies it's underground existence.
